What is Pixel Flow
Pixel Flow is a free arcade puzzle game by indie developer FYG, playable in the browser since June 2026. Tanks ride a circular conveyor belt and automatically fire projectiles at pixel cubes that share their color. Clear every cube on the board to finish a run.
The number floating above each tank is its ammo: every shot counts it down, and when it hits zero the tank exits the stage. If ammo remains when its turn on the belt ends, the tank parks in one of five waiting slots, ready to jump back onto the conveyor the next time you tap a slot.
The conveyor itself has limited capacity. Overload it and the queue stalls until space frees up, so the real game is timing and queue management, not just shooting. Rounds are short, the loop is sticky: tap, flow, repeat.
Tap
Send the next tank onto the belt.
Flow
Colors clear automatically while you manage the queue.
Repeat
Re-launch parked tanks and keep the board moving.
How to Play Pixel Flow
The whole control scheme is one tap. Everything else is timing and order.
-
Tap to launch
Tap the conveyor to send the next waiting tank onto the belt. There is no aiming and no steering: one tap, and the tank is on its way.
-
Watch it fire
A tank automatically shoots at pixel cubes of its own color. Color matching is handled for you, so you never pick targets, you decide only who goes and when.
-
Mind the ammo
The digit above each tank is its remaining shot count. When it runs out, the tank leaves the stage. Leftover ammo sends the tank to a waiting slot instead.
-
Manage the queue
The belt holds a limited number of tanks and five waiting slots sit below. Tap a slot to re-launch a parked tank at the best moment, and keep room on the belt so it never stalls.
Pixel Flow Features
One-tap control
Fast rounds you can play one-handed. The entire game is a single tap or click, which makes it easy to pick up and hard to put down.
Automatic color matching
Tanks only hit cubes of their own color, so there is no target selection to micro-manage. Deciding the launch order is where the skill lives.
Conveyor capacity
The belt takes a limited number of tanks at once. Overload it and everything stalls, adding a light timing and queue-management layer on top of the action.
Five waiting slots
Tanks with ammo left park in five slots instead of being lost. Stack them, sort them, and fire them again at exactly the right moment.
Short, sticky rounds
Sessions are quick by design, with a one-more-run pace that fits a short break instead of demanding an evening.
Satisfying pixel clearing
Every hit visibly empties the board. Cubes shatter, the picture cleans up block by block, and a fully cleared board is the reward.
Pixel Flow Tips and Strategy
Four habits that keep the belt moving and the board shrinking.
Focus one color at a time
Clearing cube by cube across many colors at once splits your fire. Commit to one color cluster until it is gone, then rotate to the next.
Deploy high-ammo tanks first
A big ammo count is carrying capacity. Get the largest numbers onto the belt early so they spend their shots while there are still cubes to hit.
Save low-ammo tanks for cleanup
Small counts are finishing moves. Park them in the waiting slots and release them when only a few cubes of their color remain.
Tap into the gaps
Launch during the empty stretches of the belt rather than stacking tanks back to back. A free-flowing conveyor clears boards faster than a crowded one.
Frequently Asked Questions about Pixel Flow
Is Pixel Flow free to play?
Yes. Pixel Flow runs free in your browser through Playgama's official game player, which is ad supported on the platform side. There is nothing to buy on this page and no payment is required to play.
How do I play Pixel Flow?
Tap or click to send the next numbered tank onto the conveyor belt. The tank automatically fires at pixel cubes of its matching color until its ammo runs out. Tanks with ammo left park in the five waiting slots, and tapping a slot sends that tank back onto the belt.
Do I need to download or install anything to play?
No. Pixel Flow is a browser game, so it loads and plays right on this page with no download and no installation. You do need an internet connection, because the game streams from Playgama's servers each time it loads.
Can I play Pixel Flow on mobile?
Yes. The game supports touch controls and plays in mobile browsers on Android and iOS, as well as on desktop with a mouse. Tap to launch tanks and tap a slot to re-deploy a parked tank.
What does the number above each tank mean?
It is the ammo count: the number of shots that tank can still fire. Every projectile it launches counts the number down by one, and when it reaches zero the tank leaves the stage.
How do the five waiting slots work?
When a tank still has ammo but its run on the belt ends, it slides into one of five waiting slots instead of disappearing. Tap a slot to jump that tank back onto the conveyor and fire its remaining shots at the right moment.
What happens if I overload the conveyor?
The belt has a limited number of places, and overloading it stalls the queue, so you have to wait for space to free up. Sending tanks in a deliberate order, instead of tapping as fast as possible, keeps the flow moving and the board clearing.
